Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish made from fermented vegetables, most commonly napa cabbage and radishes, seasoned with a variety of spices and ingredients such as garlic, ginger, scallions, and Gochukaru (sun-dried chilli pepper).
Known for its bold flavours and crunchy texture, kimchi is rich in probiotics, making it not only delicious but also a nutritious addition to meals. It can be enjoyed on its own, as a condiment, or incorporated into a range of dishes, adding a unique and tangy kick that complements many flavours.
Our kimchi is made entirely by hand, from chopping to packaging! Every morning, we bring in fresh ingredients that we carefully hand-cut, salt, and then rinse before mixing them with our special kimchi blend. After that, we let it ferment for at least two weeks to develop its rich flavour before it’s ready to be dispatched.
We believe in keeping things natural, so you won’t find any artificial additives in our kimchi—no preservatives, citrus juice, vinegar, or MSG. We simply let time work its magic. Our kimchi is 100% handmade, 100% natural, and 100% vegan!
Kimchi is a living product, and during its continuous fermentation, it produces natural gases that can damage glass jars. That’s why we use a specially developed pouch designed specifically for kimchi. This pouch helps prevent any issues from the fermentation process while keeping the healthy bacteria and freshness intact for longer.
Our pouches are made from recyclable plastic, so once you’ve enjoyed the kimchi, please wash and dry the pouch and place it in your recycling bin.
Savour kimchi just as it is—a healthy and flavorful side dish that pairs perfectly with any meal. Feeling adventurous? Dive into the endless culinary possibilities with kimchi! We’ve handpicked some of our favourite recipes for you to try. Check them out and start cooking today!
